MOU - School health service delivery

General information

For the purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), School Health Services are defined as the provision of health services to students who attend public schools. These services are provided by Department of Health (DOH) school nurses and are jointly funded by the Department of Education (DOE) and DOH.

The MOU is complemented by School Level Agreements which are negotiated between local schools, Health Services and Regional Education staff. School Level Agreements are intended to guide service provision at the operational level, with due consideration of local needs, resources and circumstances.
