The eSafety Professional Learning Program (PLP) for NSCP Chaplains provides evidence-based, targeted advice on preventing and responding to cyberbullying.
The program covers the latest online safety research, case studies and strategies that will assist school chaplaincy workers to integrate online safety into their student wellbeing programs and intervention.
This program requires participation in a three-hour live webinar session and the completion of an online quiz. To participate, NSCP chaplaincy workers can register for the training now at https://esafety.gov.au/education-resources/outreach/chaplain-professional-learning-program. NSCP chaplaincy workers are encouraged to complete the training as soon as possible.
After participating in the webinar, participants will be sent a 15-minute quiz (within 24 hours of completion) to complete the three hours of activity. All Chaplains who complete the program will receive a summative infographic containing key learnings and a certificate of participation.
NSCP funded chaplaincy workers are required to provide their professional learning Certificate of Completion to their employers. Employers are required to provide a copy of the Certificate to the Department of Education to assist with meeting the requirements of the NSCP Project Agreement.
Further information on the PLP and Frequently Asked Questions are available at https://www.education.gov.au/national-school-chaplaincy-program. For all other enquiries email chaplaincy@education.wa.edu.au or phone 9402 6133.
