Additional support for delivering mental health programs in schools

Through a key election commitment, the State Government is providing each of 300 schools with an additional 0.1 FTE Level 3, Classroom Teacher to support delivery of these programs.  Teachers will also be given training and support.

Through this initiative, more teachers will engage with or strengthen delivery of mental health prevention programs in their schools, helping students to become increasingly confident, resilient and ready for the challenges and opportunities of their futures.

The expression of interest process for this initiative has now been finalised.  A list of successful schools is available in Related Files to the right of this page.
