Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor Training 2017

Since 1 July 2013, all psychologists applying to act as supervisors of provisionally registered psychologists have been required to demonstrate successful completion of an approved Psychology Board of Australia Full Training program.

All psychologists who held approval to supervise on 30 June 2013, remained approved and able to continue supervision.  By 1 July 2018, this group of supervisors need to provide evidence to the Board of having completed an approved Master Class in order to continue their approval.

Conscious of the need to support current supervisors and grow the next generation of supervisors, the School Psychology Service has offered funded places in Psychology Board of Australia (Board) approved supervision programs since 2014.  A number of funded places will be available for training programs again in 2017.

Applications for funded places in supervision training close on Friday 12 May 2017 and no late applications will be accepted.  The School Psychology Service doe not anticipate offering additional funded places prior to 1 July 2018.
