Mosman Park School for Deaf Children

The Mosman Park School for Deaf Children provides primary and pre-primary programs for students who communicate through Auslan and spoken English.

The purpose of the school is to provide an inclusive and highly supported learning environment for students. All students are supported with an individual education plan. Parent/Carer involvement is promoted throughout the school.

Education Programs

The Mosman Park Schools have a strong commitment to inclusion and valuing diversity. The children are placed in classes according to their age and where possible the maximum is 6 deaf and hard of hearing students within each Mosman Park Primary School class. Deaf and hard of hearing students receive small group and individual support relative to their learning needs.

  • Deafness Studies
  • Computer Technology
  • Speech and Auditory Skills
  • Specialist Literacy and Numeracy Programs.
