Mathematics
Overview
The aim of the mathematics specialist program is to not only teach your child mathematics, but train them to think like matheaticians. Children will develop their analytical and creative thinking skills to solve problems in a logical manner.
This accelerated program is taught in three stages from Years 8 to 10. Stage one looks into the past world of mathematics; stage two looks at the present use of mathematics (with strong links to Curtin University); and stage three looks into the future of mathematics and research methods.
