Level of Adjustments 1

Class based planning/adjustments with colleagues, to cater for a range of student learning needs and styles. Eg., working with others to develop informed practices such as learning journeys and three-way conferences.

Level of Adjustments 2

Collaboration with the student, parent/carer, learning support team and district-based personnel. Eg., class based and/or small group adjustments and strategies to target specific outcomes, including some modification of goals and/or equipment.

Level of Adjustments 3

Collaborative planning to adjust the physical and learning environment as per documented plan, including the student, parent/carer, learning support team, school psychologist, and visiting teacher. Eg., plan and review adjustments to teaching strategies, language or routines.

Collaborative planning and review to address access, participation and transition issues across the site as per documented plan, typically including the student, parent/carer, school based personnel, visiting teacher, therapists, school psychologist, external agencies. Collaborative planning to develop, use and review documented plan with emphasis upon curriculum access in most learning areas. Regular collaborative planning and review with the student, parent/carer, learning support team, visiting teachers, school psychologist, therapists, external agencies etc. Eg., case conferencing, detailed planning and review of adjustments to program content, transition and routines.

Collaborative planning to design, and review individualised, highly structured documented plan across all learning areas. Extensive, ongoing collaborative planning with parent/carer, learning support team, visiting teacher, school psychologist, therapists, external agencies etc.
