Kindergarten

Factsheets, booklets and videos for families

It is an exciting and important moment when your child starts Kindergarten. They bring everything they have learned from you at home with them to the classroom.

We know that children learn best when they are supported by their family. A strong partnership with the school and regular contact with your child's teacher will make sure they get the very best start to formal learning.

Another way to get involved is to continue the learning at home. And it does not have to be a chore. There are many fun and exciting activities that will stimulate your child's curiosity and encourage their love of learning. And best of all, they are easy to include as part of your daily routine.

Our booklets, factsheets and videos give you an idea of what to expect when your child starts Kindergarten, what happens in a typical day, as well as ideas of how you can support your child's learning and development during their time in Kindergarten. We hope you find them useful.
