North Metropolitan Education Region

A Message from Regional Executive

The North Metropolitan Regional Education Office has been established to allow public schools and community members to approach senior Department representatives with issues and problems for local resolution. This office has also been created to foster interagency collaboration to further assist families of school-aged children.

This website aims to assist schools, parents and the community to easily access important information related to the education of more than 100,000 children from Kindergarten to Year 12 across more than 240 public schools in the region, stretching from Lancelin in the north and Wooroloo in the East, down to the Swan River.

The layout for this web page has been designed to enable schools and Departmental staff to access relevant regional operational information on the left side of the screen, and information and support relevant to whole school communities and parents on the right side of the screen.

Joanne Harris, Director of Education, Steve Watson, Assistant Director of Education and Leon Wilson, Assistant Director of Education.
