Coral Coast Schools Network

The Coral Coast Schools Network consists of 8 schools, with great distances between. The network begins in Shark Bay and Useless Loop in the south, Burringurrah in the east, and stretches as far as Exmouth in the north. One Network Principal supports the Network.

Membership schools for the Coral Coast Schools Network: Carnarvon Community College: Cleaver Street and Marnion Street, Useless Loop Remote Community School, Shark Bay School, Gascoyne Junction Remote Community School, Burringurrah Remote Community School, Carnarvon School of the Air and Exmouth District High School.

The Network has identified Literacy as a priority. The schools plan to improve literacy standards for K – 12 classes through a collective focus on developing shared and uniform literacy strategies across the network schools. The network schools plan incorporates sharing of best practice, common instructional/assessment strategies, target setting for improvement and the establishment of a Network Literacy Committee.
