Leading a Culture of Whole School Self-Assessment

About the program

Leading a Culture of Whole School Self-Assessment is designed for members of the school leadership team and is part of the Leading School Improvement program suite.

The program supports school leadership teams to develop and foster a culture of whole school self-assessment to support the school improvement cycle.

Participants are provided with the opportunity to investigate effective whole school self-assessment processes, strengthen capacity to systematically and continuously reflect on efforts to improve student achievement and progress, and assess the effectiveness of school processes in maximising student achievement.

Throughout the program participants will engage in contextual reflections to build their capacity to assess their school’s performance, plan for improvement and act on their plans.

Leading a Culture of Whole School Self-Assessment encourages school-wide conversations about aspects of current practice, areas for improvement and evidence that progress is being made.
