Student-centred funding and one line budgets training and support

The Student-centred funding model enables decisions to be made at the school level to better meet the needs of students and the expectations of communities.

School leaders are now in a position to make these decisions in concert with their communities. There is an opportunity to rethink the structures of their schools and, over time, make changes to maximise success for their students.

The Student-centred funding and one line budget website provides information, support and resource materials for principals and managers corporate services on student-centred funding and one line budgets.

Further support available to schools includes:

  • access to Student-centred funding model principal advisors
  • School Resourcing System training manual
  • school staffing and finance consultants
  • ongoing software training
  • email enquiry line SCFM@education.wa.edu.au.

Training workshops are delivered in both metropolitan and regional locations.
