Growing High Trust Relationships: Developing Self and Others with the DiSC® Management Profile


About the program

Growing High Trust Relationships: Developing Self and Others with the DiSC® Management Profile is a highly interactive and practical one-day program designed for those with people management responsibilities. 

In preparation, participants complete the DiSC® Management Profile. During the program they receive and understand their DiSC® Management Report and learn how to use the information within their report.

Learning intention

By the end of this program, it is intended that participants will have:

  • explored the influence their management style has on how they manage time, make decisions and approach challenges
  • examined the DiSC® model and how it informs the role of leader
  • learned specific strategies for building trust and connection with those who operate differently from them and subsequently learned how to be more “emotionally intelligent” by being more flexible with people of different styles to their own.

Target audience

Principals, school leaders and teachers.

Participant expectations

On the day

  • Programs start at 8.30am. Tea and coffee are available from 7.45am.
  • Business dress is required.
  • Morning tea and lunch are provided.

Location

The Institute for Professional Learning is located in Building B at 164-194 Oxford Street, Leederville WA. We co-locate with the Schools of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE).

Parking

Please note, the Institute does not have on-site parking:

  • The City of Vincent has a number of car parks throughout Leederville.
  • The closest long term paid parking is available on the south side of The Avenue Car Park on Leederville Parade.
  • Short term paid parking (two hour) is available in adjacent streets.
  • The City of Vincent offers a 'pay by phone' parking service.
  • The Institute is a two minute walk from Leederville train station.
  • Taxis service the site promptly.
  • Cycle racks are located outside Building F.
