Branding and Marketing: Enhancing Your Presence in Social Media

About the program

A social media strategy should evolve with the school’s changing requirements, social media channel selection and an allowance for identifying and utilising emerging technologies. It should allow for a seamless integration between communication channels and provide a reliable platform for parent and community engagement.

Maintaining an active social media presence requires an ongoing commitment to identify and share relevant content with your school community. Your audience will come to expect, and rely on, the content that you share.

Branding and Marketing: Enhancing Your Presence in Social Media provides techniques for enhancing engagement with your school community through developing engaging content, measuring the success of your communications and ensuring your posts are seen by your intended audience.

Topics include:

  • ongoing channel maintenance and management
  • evolving your social media strategy
  • developing engaging content
  • evaluating customer experience
  • leveraging influencer relationships
  • targeting your posts to specific audiences
  • identifying and integrating your earned, owned and paid media.

This workshop assumes the attendees are already maintaining a social media presence or have previously attended Branding and Marketing: an Introduction to Social Media.
