Department of Education

For System Leaders

As system leaders, we need to build on our significant existing strengths, learn from each other and collaborate together to grow excellence across our education system.

The Institute for Professional Learning coordinates professional learning opportunities for Department of Education leaders, based in schools, regions, the Statewide Services Centre and central office, who are looking to enhance their leadership capacity.

The range of leadership development opportunities on offer have been designed to broaden your understanding of system leadership and enable you to explore the relationship between system leadership and system improvement. The professional learning programs and services provide you with opportunities to further develop your skills to work collaboratively with leaders in other schools and across the Department.
