Swan Valley Anglican Community School

Philosophy and Ethos

The project should raise the children’s and the community’s awareness of the local natural environment and how we relate to it. It should do this through a range of perspectives, such as environmental, social, ethics and health and with an understanding of links to the past, present and future. It is a project which the whole school community is to be encouraged to participate in. Students will hopefully see that they are connected to their local natural environment and the broader community and that their actions can have a positive or negative impact on the environment, their community and themselves.
