SCIS: Schools Catalogue Information Service
SCIS is a national retrieval and cataloguing service for Australian and New Zealand schools. The SCIS service is owned by the nation's education authorities. All WA public schools have a centrally funded licence to SCIS Web to enable access to catalogue records. SCISWeb allows schools to download catalogue records from the SCIS database, an online database of over 1.3 million complete catalogue records for educational resources, including print resources, e-books, website records, sound recordings, video recordings, electronic resources and educational games. The SCISWeb Manual provides comprehensive information about all aspects of cataloguing resources.
SCIS provides the following arrangements for cataloguing physical resources
Campion Education provide two WA depot locations for SCIS cataloguing of school resources. Any WA SCIS subscriber can send or deliver resources clearly labelled with school name and marked ATTN: SCIS Cataloguer to one of the following locations;
Campion Education, Door 4, 7 Oxleigh Drive, Malaga WA 6090
Campion Education, 28-30 Kembla Way, Willetton WA 6155
You should notify firstname.lastname@example.org that you have sent or delivered items, and include a pre-paid courier or padded postal bag if you are not collecting the resources in person from Campion. Cataloguers will notify you by email when your resources are ready.
