Using the AEDC

Schools, educators and service providers can use the AEDC to:

  • understand children's learning and developmental needs at the community level;
  • plan and support children’s successful transition to school;

  • leverage collaborative community partnerships;
  • inform local policy and planning; and
  • address National Quality Standard Quality Areas and assist in developing school, and curriculum plans.

A range of resources, including fact sheets, community stories and an online training module on understanding and using the data is available at www.aedc.gov.au.
