The EAL/D team at the Statewide Services Resource and Information Centre provide an information and resource service that assists educators statewide in supporting EAL/D students including newly arrived EAL/D students, Aboriginal students and EAL/D students born in Australia whose home language is one other than Standard Australian English.
Teachers can borrow resources for ten weeks. Resources include the EAL/D Progress Map, bilingual texts, high interest age appropriate texts, cultural resources, explicit English language resources and teaching and learning materials to support the Western Australian curriculum.
