Graduate Teacher Induction Program

Supporting early career teachers

Principals and mentors can support teacher reflection and implementation through discussion and use of reflective questions after the graduate teacher has attended the Graduate Modules.

Questions to consider for reflection:

  • What has been the biggest shift in your thinking after attending your recent graduate module?
  • How has your thinking changed around this?
  • How are you going to implement this new thinking?
  • What support would help you be successful with this change?
  • What impact on student learning would you anticipate?
  • What are your short/long term goals?
  • What steps would help you achieve these?
  • Who could assist you?
  • What are your ideas regarding future professional learning?
