To complete many of the tasks contained within this learning area, students would need a degree of support and scaffolding especially with regards to genre conventions, identifying the target audience and using appropriate language for the chosen purpose.
Teachers are encouraged to pick up on any of the ideas and adapt them to meet student needs. While activities have been written for individuals, teachers should be encouraged to consider the use of co-operative learning.
